Do we fold our arms and watch these children go through pain for the rest of their lives?
No we will not let that happen!
The child labourer is deprived of education, health and strength that is essential for his or her growth. Such activities inhibit intellectual and personality development.
Poverty, migration, low family earning, social conditions etc. drive a child to forcefully work in exploitative conditions.
In 2017, 152 million children ages 5 to 17 were engaged in child labour. Getting involved in child labour harms a child's social and mental development, reduces their ability to enjoy childhood, and limits educational opportunities.
Let's join hands together as a TEAM and create a better world for children and adults!
Save the date: 12th June, 2021. World day against child labour.
